Why I Teach

I have encountered many great teachers, and all of these teachers have one thing in common; they make students want to take their education into their own hands. These teachers are passionate, and their love for what they teach is transferred to the student.

​I want to be a teacher who influences students like my great teachers have influenced me: through passion and hard work. I want my students to be happy to come to my class because they look forward to learning.

International Experience

​In the summer of 2016 I completed my TESOL certification, allowing me to teach English abroad to EFL students. In November of that year I left Ontario and traveled to South Korea to practice the skills that I learned in the TESOL course. I truly enjoyed my experience teaching in South Korea, and decided to further delve into the realm of education.
